Many customers whose business is in the asphalt and paving industry have switched from using diesel fuel that is dripped from a tank to keep asphalt from sticking to the roller, over to Asphalt Truck Bed Release Agent. The problem with diesel fuel in this application is that it softens the asphalt and will eventually cause chuck holes down the road. At an economical ratio of 50 parts water to 1 part Asphalt Truck Bed Release Agent, it works magic by keeping asphalt from sticking to the roller. Also, it is an excellent rust inhibitor for the storage tank. By taking 50 gallons of water and mixing 1 gallon of Asphalt Truck Bed Release Agent, you now have an extremely effective release agent that can be sprayed on a dump truck body to keep bituminous hot mix from sticking to the body. Only 3/4 of a gallon of treatment is needed for the average dump truck body. When comparing the cost of diesel fuel versus the treatment costs of using Asphalt Truck Bed Release Agent, you’ll see real savings.
Asphalt Truck Bed Release Agent is a versatile product that can be used for other applications, such as a chain lubricant. When mixed in a stronger concentration, such as 1 part release agent to 5 parts water, it makes an excellent high temperature chain lubricant that minimizes the potential of fire. Another area where this product is useful is as a cotton picker water tank oil. It effectively stays mixed with water and offers superior lubrication and cleaning properties for the spindles.
